This module covers a variety of topics such as e-business technologies, e-business operations and strategies, e-marketing, and e-business innovations.

The assessment strategy is designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate an understanding of fundamental e-business concepts and the impact of e-business on business operations and strategies across different industries.
Thus, the summative assessment for this module consists of:
A pair essay assignment (3000 words). Due Tuesday 17th July 2018.
Formative assessment and feedback
Students will receive advice on assignment essay topic selection and formative feedback on an outline prepared for the assignment.

Methods of Teaching / Learning
The learning and teaching strategy is designed to provide a range of learning opportunities in an integrative way to facilitate the development of key knowledge areas described above.
The learning and teaching methods include:
2-hour lectures (twice) for first 5 weeks and (once) 2-hour lectures for the 6th week
1-hour seminar discussion (twice) for first 5 weeks and (once) 1-hour seminar discussion for the 6th week

Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module. In-class tests are scheduled/organised separately to taught content and will be published on to student personal timetables, where they apply to taken modules, as soon as they are finalised by central administration. This will usually be after the initial publication of the teaching timetable for the relevant semester.
