Assessment Strategy

Students will complete a dissertation comprising a comprehensive literature review and a research proposal related to an area of interest within the student’s scope of practice. Students will not be expected to undertake the research proposed. The word count of the dissertation = 8000 words (pass mark 50%)

Module aims

  • The module enables students to critically appraise research. Students will further develop the skills to appraise evidence for health, care and wellbeing, therefore enabling them to become competent at employing research and evidence based practice
