In this module you will study the species specific immune systems and understand the basics of veterinary immunopathology. You will also study the species specific anatomical and physiological differences relevant to veterinary immunopathology.
Furthermore, you will study how the immune system of animals compares to humans. On completion of this module you will have a detailed understating of the form and function of the immune system of animals and how it influences infectious and non-infectious disease.

A selection of (exam type) questions will be used to assess students progress during the module. Students will be invited to provide draft answers upon which brief written feedback (exam like) will be provided.
