In light of the Covid-19 pandemic the University has revised its courses to incorporate the ‘Hybrid Learning Experience’ in a departure from previous academic years and previously published information. - Resources needed to implement public health initiatives and support public health practice at local, national and international levels.
- Validity and reliability of tools for assessment in public health practice.
- Causation and evaluation of selected therapeutic and preventative interventions.
- Theories and concepts underpinning public health practice.
- Collaborative working with individuals, groups and communities to enhance health and well being.
- Exploration of the wider determinants of health and the use of advocacy to promote client perspective in the assessment process.

Methods of Teaching / Learning
Different approaches relevant to the module content will be used, which may include: Lectures, discussion groups, seminars, case studies, pre & post session study, virtual learning approaches.
Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module. In-class tests are scheduled/organised separately to taught content and will be published on to student personal timetables, where they apply to taken modules, as soon as they are finalised by central administration. This will usually be after the initial publication of the teaching timetable for the relevant semester.
