This Graduate Showcase module consolidates all activity towards the realisation of the students' London Showcase event, a pivotal marketing event for soon to graduate students providing an opportunity to meet prospective employers and key practitioners representing all production sectors of the entertainment and theatre industry.

The assessment strategy is designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate achievement against the module learning outcomes.
Thus, the summative assessment for this module consists of:
- Reflective portfolio (1500-2000 words) on showcase planning and preparation. Evidencing engagement, process, research and achievement throughout the module, the portfolio will also reflect upon the success of strategies adopted for employer engagement.
- The Guildford showcase event provides an opportunity for formative feedback from GSA staff and invited external industry guests.
- Verbal feedback will be provided by staff throughout the seminars and practical activities of the module.
- Provided verbally throughout the process.
- Written feedback for the summative assessment will be provided within 3 weeks of the submission date
- Implement the Graduate Showcase planning work evidenced earlier in the year
- Enable students to work both individually and as a group to produce a professional showcase which presents them as graduates to the industry
- Introduce key activities found with standard business ‘networking' models
- Further students understanding of industry structures and instututions, and how they may engage with these.

Methods of Teaching / Learning
The learning and teaching strategy is designed to provide a variety of learning and teaching methods which fit with the overall aims & strategy of the programme and support an independent and self-motivated approach to personal career planning, professional networking and effective self-presentation.
The learning and teaching methods include:
- Practical production work towards realisation of project
- Independent study
Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module. In-class tests are scheduled/organised separately to taught content and will be published on to student personal timetables, where they apply to taken modules, as soon as they are finalised by central administration. This will usually be after the initial publication of the teaching timetable for the relevant semester.
