The assessment strategy is designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate to
achieve the learning outcomes
Thus, the summative assessment for this module consists of:
- A 2000 word assignment:
Discuss the impact of living with one long term condition on the person, their families/carers. Explore the care and support required and how health care professionals can promote self-management of their condition
Formative assessmen
Students will submit a draft plan of their assignment with a paragraph including references for tutor feedback

Tutor feedback of formative assessment. Ongoing feedback through seminar groups.

- This module aims to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of the management of long term condtionsand the impact on the person, their family and how to activetly support and empower self care

Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module.
