In light of the Covid-19 pandemic the University has revised its courses to incorporate the ‘Hybrid Learning Experience’ in a departure from previous academic years and previously published information. Summative assessment for this module consists of:
OSCE, with reflective viva
- Enable the student to develop an understanding of crisis situation assessment and management within the context of multi-aganecy care provision
|1||Identify and show a deep understanding of the complexities involved in intra-professional care in order to deliver effective evidence based care.|
|2||Critically appraise and evaluate the care required in known and unknown clinical situations, utilising a developing range of leadership theories.|
|3||Critically evaluate, develop and maintain specific communication and assertiveness skills to advocate for people who use mental health services by synthesising ideas and evidence to enhance the user experience.|
|4||Develop critical responses and advanced decision-making skills in collaboration with services, teams, families and carers in order to inform future clinical practice, showing a deep understanding of potential ethical dilemmas.|
|5||Through rehearsal of comprehensive assessment, select appropriate advances methodological approaches and critically evaluate their effectiveness.|

Methods of Teaching / Learning
Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module. In-class tests are scheduled/organised separately to taught content and will be published on to student personal timetables, where they apply to taken modules, as soon as they are finalised by central administration. This will usually be after the initial publication of the teaching timetable for the relevant semester.
