The assessment strategy is designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate the advancement of their practice in clinical settings and critical analysis of the underpinning evidence for practice.
Thus, the summative assessment for this module consists of:
An eportfolio relevant to own area of practice, demonstrating advancement of their knowledge and skills in line with professional registration in a specialist role.

Module aims
- Enable healthcare practitioners to demonstrate advancement of their knowledge, skills and understanding in relation to the relevant underpinning evidence base within their area of practice.
- Explore opportunities to enhance care delivery utilising the evidence base
- Support practitioners to empower and support the development of healthcare workers
- Facilitate the development of critical thinking and an enquiring mind

Delivery of Module
This an ONLINE, e-learning module accessible via the University Surrey Learn platform.
Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module. In-class tests are scheduled/organised separately to taught content and will be published on to student personal timetables, where they apply to taken modules, as soon as they are finalised by central administration. This will usually be after the initial publication of the teaching timetable for the relevant semester.
