Each pathway group will receive a series of lectures, and seminars to develop their knowledge and understanding of their elected specialism. Details of these, and the assessed project work will be delivered at the onset of the module via the pathway tutor.

Assessment Strategy
The assessment strategy is designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate practical skills and understanding.
Formative assessment:
This will be a pathway specific exercise that will enable the students to further engage in and interrogate production skills and techniques. The exact nature of this will be pathway specific and more information will be provided at the onset of the module.
Summative assessment
This will consist of a research proposal that will be developed into a research project in level 6.
Module aims
- Able to contribute to the creation and/or production of performance through an understanding of appropriate performance vocabularies, techniques, crafts, structures and working methods
- Able to describe and interpret diverse styles of performance texts, production techniques and disciplines and performance events
- Aware of the skills and processes of production, design and rehearsal by which performance is created, and have experience of their realisation and presentation in performance
- Able to negotiate, pursue goals with others and manage personal workloads to deadlines

Methods of Teaching / Learning
Each pathway will have its own dedicated schedule of seminars and practical sessions depending upon the pathway.
Indicated Lecture Hours (which may also include seminars, tutorials, workshops and other contact time) are approximate and may include in-class tests where one or more of these are an assessment on the module. In-class tests are scheduled/organised separately to taught content and will be published on to student personal timetables, where they apply to taken modules, as soon as they are finalised by central administration. This will usually be after the initial publication of the teaching timetable for the relevant semester.
