Assessment Strategy


  • 20 minute presentation of a service development proposal with their Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy service (100% of module marks)

  • Submission of a practice portfolio (UKONS SACT Passport Part 2) (Pass/Fail)


Module aims

  • Enable nurses to acquire the competence to administer Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) safely whilst ensuring that individualised care is achieved through comprehensive assessment and management strategies.

The learning and teaching strategy is designed to: facilitate learning and teaching by using a variety of teaching methods including structured and work based learning
