Engagement with employability, including identifying one's skills and experience, organizing that information into a form legible to employers, and presenting it in an appropriate way to apply for positions.
Thus, the summative assessment for this module consists of:
A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
A sample cover letter for a representative placement, internship, or graduate position
Students will receive feedback on their CVs and cover letters, and can pursue further advice from the school Employability officer and the Employability and Careers Service.
Formative assessment and feedback
Students will receive verbal feedback during lectures and tutorials through direct questioning. All this feedback will help students to judge their own performance and prepare for the final exam.
