Educational aims of the programme
- Provide high-quality education, which is intellectually rigorous and up-to-date, as well as relevant to the needs of existing and future managers, executives and professionals in the hospitality industry
- Offer a business management orientation related to the hospitality business drawing on a range of cognate areas of study to explain and analyse the hospitality sector
- Apply an integrated approach to provide a coherent view that explores the interrelationships between the various components of the programme, but at the same time by way of elective modules permits students to pursue an extra element of specialisation relevant to their backgrounds, interests and/or career aspirations
- Provide an international perspective both in scope and coverage
- Offer up to date information that draws upon recent research activities
- Develop students as independent and reflective learners, able to continue their learning once in their chosen profession

This Master's Degree programme is studied full-time over one academic year, consisting of 180 credits at FHEQ level 7. All modules are semester based and worth 15 credits with the exception of project, practice based and dissertation modules.
Possible exit awards include:
- Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits)
- Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits)
Part-time with Distance Learning
This Master's Degree programme is studied part-time over two academic years, consisting of 180 credits at FHEQ level 7. All modules are semester based and worth 15 credits with the exception of project, practice based and dissertation modules.
