This Bachelor's Degree (Honours) programme is studied full-time over three academic years, consisting of 360 credits (120 credits at FHEQ levels 4, 5 and 6). All modules are semester based and worth 15 credits with the exception of project, practice based and dissertation modules.

Global and Cultural Capabilities:
The programme is delivered in an interactive and collaborative way, in a cohort that commonly represents a wealth of nationalities and backgrounds. Students are encouraged to engage with, and learn from, diverse perspectives through interaction and teamwork. The accounting and financial models introduced in the programme are applicable to companies across the globe. Students are familiarised with concepts that are standard all over the world with some variations depending on country regulations and/or cultural differences.

Digital Capabilities: Students will use excel to better understand accounting and finance related modelling and enhance their digital capabilities. For several projects, they need to source and evaluate information and data via online resources to aid their learning. Additionally, they are encouraged to use current media and cloud/file sharing for communication and teamwork. Throughout the programme, students learn to navigate the Virtual Learning Environment and other digital resources to aid their learning and undertake research.

Employability:
This programme is accredited by five professional accountancy bodies and thus improves employability. The programme aims to develop accounting and financial awareness and modelling skills that are highly sought after by employers. Students develop the ability to evaluate problems, devise and critically analyse solutions, and apply knowledge to real-world business. The tasks and assessments undertaken are specifically chosen to mimic professional life and equip students with knowledge and skills that are highly valuable to employers. As a result, students build and enhance individual and professional skills.

Resourcefulness and Resilience:
Students solve problems as well as critically analyse the solutions, thereby fostering openness to different perspectives and developing their own viewpoints. In addition, through independent and guided learning, students develop attributes such as confidence, adaptability, self-regulation, self-efficacy, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. By the final year, students will have the ability to respond positively and effectively to opportunities and challenges both as an individual and within a group.

Sustainability:
The programme aims to develop students¿ understanding, awareness, and capability to develop innovative solutions to deal with key agendas related to specific sustainability and ethically related areas such as socially responsible business conduct. The nature of the programme requires students to critically assess issues in corporate governance, accountability and ethics, corporate failure, ethical implications, and responsible investments. Students will learn to adapt to changing contexts in terms of technology, institutions, and markets.
